REWIRES

As part of a major restoration we carried out a rewire, whipping the cable ends as they would have been at the time.  You can see the wiring “kit”, which is lengths of different coloured, cotton braided cables, together with a typical wiring diagram.  We were asked to add indicators to this car (for the sake of safety), as well as a USB charging point (which was hidden out of sight).

The rubber covering on the cables had started to melt and was showing through the cotton braiding on this car.
